This course is an overview of information technology (IT) and introduces students to a variety of IT areas. Course topics include: office applications, basic computer hardware, networking and security, and web page creation and programming. Problem-based learning will be used to improve skills such as teamwork, written and oral communication, problem solving, troubleshooting and project management. Various platforms will be presented for management and development of gaming and coding skills.
The technology course is one in which the student can create and use their imagination to perform and construct many projects. The student can edit videos and photos as well. Create videogames, and coding for programming computers and robots.
The technology class offers the knowledge to be competitive in the technologically advanced world. From the home to the school or to the working space we need technology in all areas in our lives. Careers like medicine, chemistry, biology, Administrative assistant, and others need too much knowledge in technology for the better execution of their duties. And not only this career example, for everything in this moment in our lives we need technology. For this reason we need to study technology. We need to integrate in the constantly technologic changing world.
